FULLERTON * ....the Garrett Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Glenn Keidal officiating. Interment with military honors was made in the Highland Cemetery. Pfc. Fullerton was killed in action April 6, 1945, at Luxemburg, Germany. He had entered service in July, 1944, and was sent overseas in December. He served as a member of the 121st Infantry. Pvt. Fullerton, the son of John Fullerton Sr. and the late Vera Sipe Fullerton, was born in Garrett, October 10, 1918. He attended the Garrett public school. Surviving are his two daughters, Delayne Mary and Belva Vera, living in Helena, Mont., with their mother, who has recently remarried; his father, John Fullerton Sr. of Glade City; two sisters, Zelda Fullerton Shaffer and Waneta Fullerton Murray, and one brother, John Fullerton Jr., Rocky Point, N.C. The body arrived in Meyersdale Tuesday afternoon, and friends were received at the Konhaus Funeral Home. The Norman W. Yutzy Post 861, American Legion, was in charge of the military service.
