  FULTON
  
  Elery G. Fulton, 66, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 8, 1983, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 14, 1916, in Stoystown, son of Frank and
  Isabelle (Gardner) Fulton.  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Emory;
  and infant sister.  Survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Wirbick, whom
  he married on July 19, 1959; foster son, Buddy Fulton, of Laurel, Md. 
  Brother of Mrs. David M. (Fern) Barnhart and Mrs. Roy K. (Mildred) Shaulis,
  both of Stoystown; Clair, Pittsburgh; and Ray, Somerset.  He was retired
  from Somerset State Hospital.  He was a life-long member of St. Paul's
  United Church of Christ, Stoystown, where he served as a deacon; Akron
  Lodge No. 83 F. and A.M., Harrisburg Consistory.  Family will receive
  friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to St. Paul's United Church of
  Christ to lie in state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with
  the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh officiating.  Interment, Odd-Fellows Cemetery,
  Stoystown.  Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday by Somerset
  Lodge F. and A.M.
