Fulton, 66, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 8, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 14, 1916, in Stoystown, son of Frank and Isabelle (Gardner) Fulton. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Emory; and infant sister. Survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Wirbick, whom he married on July 19, 1959; foster son, Buddy Fulton, of Laurel, Md. Brother of Mrs. David M. (Fern) Barnhart and Mrs. Roy K. (Mildred) Shaulis, both of Stoystown; Clair, Pittsburgh; and Ray, Somerset. He was retired from Somerset State Hospital. He was a life-long member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown, where he served as a deacon; Akron Lodge No. 83 F. and A.M., Harrisburg Consistory. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Remains will be removed to St. Paul's United Church of Christ to lie in state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh officiating. Interment, Odd-Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday by Somerset Lodge F. and A.M. Daily American, January 10, 1983 [F1062]
