Preceded in death by parents. Survived by widow, former Myrtle Jean Harris; two children, Gary R., married to former Mary Jo Jeffreys, Johnstown; and Connee, wife of Edwin W. Smith, Friedens; five grand-children; and three step grandchildren. Brother of Charles, Central City; and Mrs. Frances Ross, Indian Lake. Member of Johnstown Local 1288, USWA. Army veteran of World War II. Past commander of Jerome Post 802, American Legion. Former member of Conemaugh Township Area School Board. Retired employee of Johnstown Works, U.S. Steel. Avid bowler. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Gary Blobaum. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
