Funk, 54, of Sellersburg, Ind., died May 27, 1998, at his home. He was born Nov. 30, 1943, in Hecla, a son of the late Clyde A. and Dorothy L. Brawdy Funk. He was Episcopalian by faith. He was employed by the Gheens Academy of Jefferson County Public Schools in Louisville, Ky., as a resource teacher for elementary schools. Harry also held a doctorate in education. He is survived by five brothers: C. Robert Funk of New Brighton, Paul R. and Jack K. Funk, both of Denver, N.C., and Larry T. Funk and Randy Brawdy, both of Somerset; also a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Barnhart Funeral Home, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at which time funeral services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Lawrence Kotts officiating. Interment, Hillview Cemetery.
