Born March 8, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Frank and Mary Jane (Salahar) Furlan. Also preceded in death by daughter, Jacqueline L. Lapera; grandchildren, Angela and Elizabeth Lapera, and brothers, James and Joseph Furlan. Survived by wife, the former Laverne Garlock, to whom he was married 55 years, and these children: Mrs. Demarest (Virginia) Senor-Hill, Columbus, Ohio; Miss Marilyn A. Furlan, Euclid, Ohio, and Robert J. Furlan, Jr., Chesterland, Ohio; 3 grandchildren: Nancy Cerra, Anthony LaPera and Kyle Senor. Member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. World War II veteran U.S. Army. Stock person for J.C. Penny Company Warehouse, Cleveland, Ohio, retiring in 1974. No viewing or visitation. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, in the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, Somerset, with William B. Wright officiating.
