Born Feb. 16, 1915, in Jenners, a son of George and Anna (Kaminsky) Furman. Preceded in death by father; one infant son; two sisters, Anna and Katherine; one brother, John. Survived by mother, Acosta; widow, the former Julia Wojcik; and these children: Stephen J. Boswell; Victoria M., wife of Joseph Crimone, Somerset; Kathleen, wife of Donald Janidlo, Jenners; four grandchildren: Joseph, Russell and Justin Crimone and Jason Janidlo. Brother of: Mary, wife of Michael Tulenko, and Andrew, married to former Gladys Peterson, both of Acosta; Helen, wife of Stanley Bodziak, and Rose, wife of Nick Tulenko, both of Latrobe. Retired coal miner and also retired employe [sic] of Somerset State Hospital; army veteran of World War II; member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta. Friends received after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where Rosary and Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Church, the Rev. J. Joseph Strittmatter. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Ralphton. Somerset American, May 15, 1976 [F1070]
