  Earl J. "Squirrel" Fyock, 79, of Filicky Lane, Stoystown, formerly of
  Hooversville RD, died Sept. 18, 2002 in Quemahoning Township.  Born May 7,
  1923 in Hooversville son of Charles J. and Ella (Helman) Fyock.  Preceded
  in death by parents, wife, the former Cora Berkey; sister, Florence Birch,
  brother, Robert Leroy Fyock, and half-brother Foster Sabin.  Survived by
  sisters:  Ruby Rosey and Ruth Karashowsky, both of Hooversville and a
  stepson Nevin Griffith of Puerto Rico.  World War II Army veteran.  Retired
  from Chapple Brothers Roofing, Johnstown.  Member of Hooversville VFW Post
  7565, Jerome American Legion Post 802 and Somerset Co. Coin Club.  Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, 976 Barn St., Hooversville where a service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Saturday.  Rev. Harry W. Bassett officiating.  Interment, P.O.S. of A.
  Cemetery, Hooversville.
