Born Mar. 17, 1904, Bedford County, daughter of Simon and Bertha (Miller) Nunemaker. Preceded in death by parents; one grandson; husband, Chas. M., died Dec. 19, 1972. Survived by daughter, Patricia, wife of the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh, Friedens RD 1; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Sister of Dr. Charles, Freemont, Ohio; Dorothy, widow of Louis Fyock, Indiana, Pa. She was a charter member of the Bedford Church of the Brethren, present member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple; founder of the Bedford County Garden Club and first president; first vice president of Bedford County Council of Republican Women and long-time member of Agriculture Extension Executive Committee, chairman of Division of Missions of Bedford County Council of Churches as well as numerous activities, political and religious. Coming to Somerset County 1968, was first president of Conemaugh Township Senior Citizens. Member of Conemaugh Township Republican Club, serving as vice president and membership chairman. Member of Somerset Co. Republican Women, president of Auxiliary of Vets of World War I, and member of the Women's Auxiliary Post 3168, Windber. Member of the Allegheny Council on the Aging. Family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev.
