Death of Mrs. M. Geiger. 
About 11 o'clock Tuesday morning of last week, B. F. Geiger, Esq , received a
telegram announcing the death of his mother at Buckstown, Somerset County, Pa.
 Mr. and Mrs. Geiger at once left for Stoystown, by way of Johnstown. Mrs.
Margaret Geiger was 83 years, 9 months and 20 days old at the time of her death,
and had been a member of the Stoystown Lutheran Church for the last 58 years.
Her last illness was of short duration, lasting only from Saturday night to
Monday morning. Mrs. Geiger had enjoyed the best of health up to the beginning
of the illness that led to her death. For the last 20 years she has been
housekeeper for her youngest son, John, of Buckstown, doing her own housework.
She had eleven children, eight of whom are still living and all of whom attended
the funeral, excepting one son, Thomas, who lives in Washington Territory.
