(Maust) Holtz Gallegos, 66, of Route 250 North, Norwalk, Ohio died Wednesday in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, after a brief illness. She was born in Berlin, daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Emerick) Maust. She lived in Norwalk since 1959, coming from Pittsburgh. She was a 25-year employee of Clevite Industries of Milan, Ohio, having retired several years ago. She attended the Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Guadalupe, whom she married in 1983; one daughter, Pamela Meyer, Houston, Texas; three sons: George Stephen Holtz of Boling Brook, Ill.; Nicholas Holtz of Norwalk, Ohio; and C. Michael Holtz of Fontana, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Floyd and Harry Maust, both of Somerset; Reon Maust of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and Woodrow Maust of Hampton, Va.; six sisters: Vi Farabaugh, Waynesboro, Va.; Leona Hendershot, Somerset; Gerri Thomas, Johnstown; Madeline King, Bedford; Betty Foust, Arlington, Va.; Lois Mason, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and numerous nieces [sic] and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Francis Holtz, in 1975, and by a son, George Stephen Holtz, in 1942. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Kubach-Smith Funeral Home 314 East Main St., Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral service will be held at 9 p.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, Md., where friends may call from noon until service time at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Teddy R. Heron, pastor of Faith Independence Baptist Church, officiating. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt. Savage, Md.
