Gallentine, 37, of 2493 Christensen Av., passed away Nov. 4 at Akron General Medical Center. He was born in Somerset County, Pa., and was employed by the Akro-Mills Industries. He was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. He is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. John (Edna) Gallentine; wife, Shirley; sons, Ricky, Denver, and Jason, all of the residence; five brothers, Merle of Pennsylvania, John, Domer, and James, all of Canton, Robert of Florida; and five sisters, Mrs. Agnes Parker of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Helen Lash, Mrs. Peggy Sanford, Mrs. Carol Unger, and Mrs. Mary Ellan Boyd, all of Canton. The family will received friends at the Kertesz Funeral Home, 2433 Manchester Rd., Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 1 p.m., at the Akron Baptist Temple, Rev.
