Born Aug. 21, 1918 in Bedford County, a son of the late Mrs. [sic] and Mrs. Roland Gamber. Preceded in death by a son, Samuel. Survived by a son, Ronald E. of Stoystown and three grandchildren. A member of Everett American Legion Post No. 8; VFW Post, Somerset; F.O.E. 1801, Somerset. He was a retired Spector Freight Co. driver and a veteran of World War II. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Samuel E. Charlton.
