Gambert, one of the most successful and prominent farmer of Brothersvalley Township, died suddenly April 2, at his home at Pine Hill. He had not been in good health for several weeks but had been doing his accustomed daily work. He fell dead at his home. He is survived by his wife. The deceased owned several farms, was also engaged in the lumber business and was a stockholder in the Economy Telephone Company. He was aged about 60 years. The funeral took place on Saturday, services being conducted by Rev. H. B. Carney, of Garrett. Mr. Gambert was a good citizen and a devoted member of the Lutheran Church.
