  GAMBLE
  
    Regis Gamble, 81, of Rockwood RD 1, formerly of Monongahela, died Feb.
  19, 1999, at Conemaugh Memorial Center, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 15, 1917, in
  New Eagle.  Preceded by two brothers and four sisters.  Survivors include
  nephew Clif Crosbie and grand-niece Allison Carpenter, Rockwood RD 1, with
  whom he made his home the past year, and great-grandnieces, April,
  Samantha, Hope and Allexsi.  Veteran of U.S. Navy Seabees in WWII.  Was a
  retired steamboat chief engineer with the former J&L Steel Co. River
  Division.  L.M. Frye Funeral Home, Monongahela, in charge of
  arrangements.  Interment, Monday at Monongahela Cemetery.
