M. Ganoe, of Scottdale, Pa., died at her home last Saturday, November 12th, at 1 o'clock, after a lingering illness of several months. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Fulmer, having been born January 14th, 1870 on a farm near Listonburg, along White's Creek. At the time of her death she was 62 years of age. Twenty-seven years ago she was united in marriage with F. M. Ganoe and for the last twelve years they lived in Scottdale, where Mr. Ganoe is chief of police. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her pastor, Rev. Whittemore, gave a glowing tribute to her work in the church and home, and of her wonderful Christian fortitude and patience during her illness. Services were held at her home in Scottdale on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, after which the funeral cortege went to a church near Point Marion where another short service was held and interment was made in the church cemetery by Funeral Director Ferguson of Scottdale. She is survived by her husband, one brother, A. C. Fulmer of Brooklyn, N.Y., and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca J. McCune, of Meyersdale. Mrs. McCune and daughter, Mary, and Mrs. Henry Mankamyer were taken to Scottdale on Tuesday by Robert James to attend the funeral services, returning home that evening.
