  GARDNER
  
  Annie A. Gardner, 96, of Somerset RD 4, died Feb.2, 1978, in her
  residence.   Born Aug. 11, 1881, in Lincoln Township, Somerset County, the
  daughter of Jonathan and Matilda (Baker) Snyder.  Preceded in death by
  husband, W. Ed; one son, three daughters, one brother and one sister. 
  Survived by these children: George J., Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Wade (Anne)
  Bruner, Somerset RD 4; a foster son, George Patrick, Somerset RD 3; six
  grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 16
  great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Bethany United Methodist
  Church.  Friends received after 2 p.m. Saturday in the Richard E. Hauger
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev.
  Paul Scruton officiating.  Interment, Casebeer Cemetery.
