  Catherine Louise Gardner, 89, of Friedens, died July 2, 2001, at her
  residence.  Born Nov. 20, 1911, in Somerset, daughter of Edward and Susan
  Cobarn (Yoder) Yoder.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Donald Arthur
  Gardner, who died June 21, 1990; daughter Nancy Jean Meyers, who died Jan.
  16, 1991, great-granddaughter Sarah Meyers; three brothers: Eugene, Earl
  and Kenneth Yoder; and two sisters: Mary Hummel and Pearl Mimna.  Survived
  by son Donald E. Gardner, married to the former Joy Griffith, of Somerset;
  son-in-law Harold R. Meyers of Friedens; grandchildren: Mrs. Robert L.
  (Deborah) Gursky of Friedens; David L. Meyers, married to the former Vonnie
  Mowry, of Somerset; Harold R. Meyers Jr., married to SunHwa, of Fort Bragg,
  N.C.: Mrs. Edward (Amy) Hankinson of Friedens; Mark A. Gardner, married to
  the former Jennifer Crise, of Belle Vernon; and great-grandchildren Dustin
  and Heather Gursky; Adam, Seth and Michael Meyers and Sarah Gardner. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted 10
  a.m. Friday with the Rev. Melvin A. Kirk officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the In Touch Hospice,
  1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Meals On Wheels, 235 W. Church
  St., Somerset, Pa 15501.
