  DOROTHY EVELYN GARDNER
  
    Dorothy Evelyn Gardner, 74, of Somerset RD 3, died July 2, 1982 at her
  residence.  She was born Sept. 15, 1907, in Fayette County, daughter of
  Ross and Emma (Nedrow) Firestone.  
    She was preceded in death by three grandchildren and six brothers.  
    She is survived by husband, George J, and these children: Mrs. Dean
  (Helen) Horner, Raymond, married to the former Elmina Roadman, and Mrs.
  Floyd (Mary Cathryn) Reese, all of Somerset RD 3; seven grandchildren; nine
  great-grandchildren.  Death ended a marriage of 56 years.  She was a sister
  of Mrs. Emert (Gertrude) Bittner, Rockwood RD 2; E. H. (Hill) Firestone,
  Somerset; Leo Firestone, Youngwood; Mrs. William (Gala) Boley, Greensburg;
  and Mrs. Kenneth (Mayme) Walthour, Greensburg.  She was a member of Bethany
  United Methodist Church and retired employee of Dorfman-Hoffman, Boswell. 
    Friends were received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted at Bethany United Methodist Church, the Rev.
  Donald Rudat officiating.  Interment, Bethany Cemetery.
