  Dorothy Louise Gardner, 56, Somerset RD 8, died Dec. 18, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born, Sept. 19, 1940, in Southampton Township.  Daughter of the
  late James Vaughn and Daisy Belle (Bittinger) King.  Preceded in death by
  brothers: Eugene, Bruce and Frank King and sister, Beverly Coley.  Survived
  by husband, Ronald Lee Gardner, to whom she was married 40 years, and these
  children: Mrs. William (Rhonda Kay) Ryan, Glencoe RD; Mrs. Scott (Amy
  Louise) Bence, Somerset; James Glenn Gardner, married to the former Barbara
  Straka, Somerset RD 7; 7 grandchildren and brother, Carl E. King, Newport,
  Wash.   Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the
  Rev. Thomas J. Knoll officiating.  Interment, Pine Hill Cemetery.
