EVA S. GARDNER

  Mrs. W. J. Gardner, aged 87, died Jan. 29th at her home in Rockwood, following 
a brief illness of heart trouble.  She was born at Schellburg, Bedford County.  
Her husband, who passed away at Rockwood five years ago, conducted the Rockwood 
Milling Company for more than 30 years.  Surviving are these children:  Mrs. M. 
R. Brennan and Harry Gardner, both of Johnstown; Miss Margaret Gardner, Mrs. 
Chancey Dehaven and W. C. Gardner, Rockwood.  She also leaves a step-daughter, 
Miss Bertha Gardner, of Johnstown, 42 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
