  Dr. Ivan O. Gardner Jr., 47, of Geelong, Victoria, Australia, died suddenly
  July 25, 1975 in his residence.  Born in Somerset, April 18, 1928, a son of
  Ivan O. Sr. and Twila Zeigler Gardner of Somerset, RD 5.  He was graduated
  from Somerset High School in 1946.  A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was
  graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1952 with a degree in
  bacteriology.  He worked for several years in Fredrick, Md. and was
  graduated from the University of Maryland in 1958 after receiving his DDS
  degree.  He has resided for the past three years in Geelong, Victoria,
  Australia, and practiced in cities of Geelong and Colac.  Besides his
  parents, he is survived by his wife Sue in Australia; a sister, Mrs. Fred
  Brass of Ambridge; two children, Ivan O. III and Bryn, both of
  Phoenixville.  Friends will be received after noon Sunday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m.
  officiated by Rev. Paul P. Weber.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
