  Robert G. Gardner, 59, of Morattico, Va., died Sept. 9, 1977 in Virginia. 
  Born May 4, 1918, in Johnstown, son of Harry H. and Lillian (Parks)
  Gardner.  Survived by wife, Alice (Conley) Gardner of Virginia, brother,
  Walter C. Gardner of Washington, D.C., and sister Mrs. Margaret Crotzer of
  Laurel, Md.  Preceded in death by parents and one sister.  Friends will be
  received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 3 to 5 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Sunday, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, the
  Rev. Duanne Johnson, officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
