Gt. Grandchildren. That one could live to within a few years of the five score mark in these latter days is quite remarkable. However, there was one who died on Sunday last whose existence made such a record, that one being Mrs. Rosanna Pyle Moore Gardner, who passed away at her home at New Lexington, this county, aged 94 years, 4 months and 7 days. She is survived by two sons and one daughter - Cyrus B. Moore, a merchant and veteran of the Civil War, it being most unusual for a veteran, fifty years after the conflict was ended to have a mother living; Dr. Harmer D. Moore, both living at New Lexington; Mrs. Sarah Countryman, of Jefferson Township; 29 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, each of the last being by different parents. Mrs. Gardner is also survived by three brothers: Josiah and Solomon Pyle, of Middlecreek Township, and Jeremiah P. Pyle, of New Centerville, whose ages are respectively 90, 84 and 88 years. Mrs. Gardner's father died in his 97th year and her mother, Mrs. Salome Pyle, in her 94th year. Meyersdale Commercial, May 20, 1915
