  Mrs. Twila Gardner, 82, Somerset RD 5, died Jan. 7, 1979 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 29, 1896 in Somerset, daughter of Daniel G.
  and Lucinda (Otto) Ziegler.  Preceded in death by three sons: Willard,
  Wilfred, and Dr. Ivan O.  Survived by husband Ivan O.; daughter Mrs.
  Frederick N. (Betty) Brass, Ambridge, Pa.; three grandchildren: Richard
  Brass, Ivan O. III, and Bryn Gardner; two great grandchildren: Laurel, and
  Margaret Brass; one sister, Miss Margaret Ziegler, Somerset RD 4.  She was
  a member of the First Christian Church, Somerset, where she has been past
  president of the Gleaners Class, and a choir member and soloist for 22
  years; member of the Forbes Road Chapter of the D.A.R. She was an L.P.N. at
  Somerset Community Hospital from 1946 to 1964.  Death ended a marriage of 64
  years.  Friends will be received from 7-9 Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday at
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted
  Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Weber officiating. Interment,
  Husband Cemetery.
