Born Feb. 29, 1896 in Somerset, daughter of Daniel G. and Lucinda (Otto) Ziegler. Preceded in death by three sons: Willard, Wilfred, and Dr. Ivan O. Survived by husband Ivan O.; daughter Mrs. Frederick N. (Betty) Brass, Ambridge, Pa.; three grandchildren: Richard Brass, Ivan O. III, and Bryn Gardner; two great grandchildren: Laurel, and Margaret Brass; one sister, Miss Margaret Ziegler, Somerset RD 4. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Somerset, where she has been past president of the Gleaners Class, and a choir member and soloist for 22 years; member of the Forbes Road Chapter of the D.A.R. She was an L.P.N. at Somerset Community Hospital from 1946 to 1964. Death ended a marriage of 64 years. Friends will be received from 7-9 Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Weber officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Daily American, January 8, 1979 [G0079]
