  GARDNER
  
  Walter B. Gardner, 76, Somerset RD 4, died Nov. 15, 1987, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 14, 1910, in Jefferson Township, son of the
  late Charles I. and Anna M. (Bisel) Gardner.  Also preceded in death by a
  daughter, Katherine. Survived by wife, the former Anna A. Walters;
  children: Mrs. L. Faye Barron, Somerset RD 6; J. C., Orangeburg, S.C.; and
  Mrs. Donald (Marlene) A. Barron of Somerset RD 4; 10 grandchildren; seven
  great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth M. Baker of Somerset RD 4. 
  Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and a retiree of the Rural Electric
  Company.  Friends received 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Ziegler Funeral
  Home.  Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Zion Lutheran
  Church with the Rev. Richard Schlak officiating. Interment, Bakersville
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church
  memorial fund.  Body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until time of service at
  the church.
