CATHERINE GAREY

  Miss Catherine Garey, one of the oldest and best known residents of Berlin 
died Monday morning in the home in which she was born 92 years ago, after an 
illness of two weeks.
  She was injured in a fall seven years ago and since that time was confined to 
her room.
  She was the daughter of Nelson and Harriet (Zorn) Garey and was born November 
10, 1855.
  Miss Garey was an active member of the Berlin Methodist Church prior to her 
injury.  She is survived by a brother, Wesley Garey, with whom she lived, and a 
sister, Mrs. Margaret Garey of Denver, Colo.
  Funeral services were held in the Johnson Funeral Home Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., 
Rev. Paul Trimpey officiating.  Interment in the Berlin Cemetery.
