  GARLAND, EDGAR R.
  
    Edgar R. Garland Sr., 77, of Berlin, died June 19, 2002 at Meadow View
  Nursing Center.
    Born June 9, 1925 in East Rochester, N.H., he is the son of the late Fred
  and Clara (Caron) Garland.
    Also preceded in death by his wife, Reba (Haynes) Garland and two
  sisters.  Survived by children, Edgar R. Garland Jr. of Markleton and Mrs.
  Fred (Shirley) Pohoman of Fort Atkinson, Wis.  Grandchildren, Steve and
  Eric Garland and Bryce, Brandon and Kala Pohoman; three great-grandchildren
  and a brother Harold C. Garland of Boston.
    Member of the Ursina American Legion and St. Peter's Catholic Church.  
    There will be no visitation or viewing.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:30
  a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Monsignor Samuel T.
  Tomaselli celebrant.
    Committal will be private.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
