Garlets died at his home in Buffalo, New York, on Thursday, June 30, after an illness of several months. He was born in St. Paul, son of Clara (Yutzy) and Ananias Garlets, and was 62 years, 7 months and 16 days in age at his passing. He was born on November 14, 1886. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna L. (Baker) Garlets; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Taylor of Boswell and Mrs. Elva Roth of Buffalo, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. John M. Deal, Route 1, Salisbury, and Mrs. Wesley Wilhelm, Route 3, Meyersdale; and by two grandchildren. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Funeral services were conducted in the Thomas Funeral Home on Saturday, July 2, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ira S. Monn officiating. Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in charge of Mortician S. M.
