    Mrs. Leona N. Garletts, 74, Rockwood RD 1, died July 31, 1984, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    Born Jan. 9, 1910, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, daughter of the late
  Silas and Nora (Nicholson) Dwire.
    Preceeded in death by brothers, Clyde, Harry, Lloyd and Ray and sister,
  Olive Turney.
    Survived by husband of 50 years, Herbert R.; one son, Richard, married to
  former Mary E. Yinger, Daniels, W. Va.; grandson, Richard C. and
  granddaughter, Jennifer M.  Sister of: Frank Dwire, Markleton, Jack Dwire,
  Vandergrift; Mrs. Esther Patton, Bloomfield, Ohio; Mrs. Ida Marker,
  Kingwood; and Mrs. Earl (Polly) Haulp, Rockwood RD 1.
    Member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Rebekah Lodge No. 575, Kingwood,
  Ladies Auxilliary of New Centerville and Rural Volunteer Fire Department,
  and Milford Grange No. 1744.
    Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Thursday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service at 1 p.m.
  Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church.
    Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
