  NELLIE MARIE GARLITZ
  
  Nellie Marie Garlitz, 73, died July 8, 1980, at Sacred Heart Hospital,
  Cumberland, Md.  She was born in Elk Lick Township, daughter of Sylvester
  O. Hemmings and Sadie (Dayton) Hemmings.
  
  She is survived by husband, A. Ernest Garlitz of Elk Lick Township; and
  children: Leroy Garlitz, Alberta Shumaker and Rita O'Neil, all of
  Meyersdale RD 3; three brothers: Lawrence Hemmings of Boynton, Paul
  Hemmings of Michigan and Eugene Hemmings, Conemaugh; one sister, Inez Gray,
  of Conemaugh.  She was a member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren.
  
  The Rev. Daniel Whitacre will officiate at interment at Salisbury Cemetery
  at the chapel.
  
  Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home.
