  ROSE A. GARLITZ
  
  Rose A. Garlitz, 74, Grantsville, Md., died Dec. 29, 1985, at Sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
  
  She was born July 8, 1911, in Somerset County, daughter of late Levi and
  Minnie Mae (Klink) Garlitz.  She was preceded in death by husband, Lemuel A.
  
  She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Christner, Johnstown, and Mrs.
  Helen M. Edgar and Mrs. Mary A. Edgar, both of Grantsville; also eight
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
  
  She was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Meyersdale; former
  cook at Robeson's Restaurant and Avilton Inn, Grantsville.
  
  Friends were received at Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services
  were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Pastor LaMar Bender.  Interment, St. Ann's
  Cemetery, Avilton, Md.
