 GARLITZ
 
 Miss Stella G. Garlitz, 83, Salisbury RD 1, died April 5, 1988, Church of
 the Brethren Home, Scalp Level.  Born Aug. 16, 1904, in Elk Lick Township,
 daughter of the late Albert Francis and Cora (Murray) Garlitz.  Also
 preceded in death by a sister, Grace E. Bittner, and a brother, Walter E. 
 Survived by one brother, A. Ernest Garlitz of Boynton; three nieces and one
 nephew.  She was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren.  She was
 a retired employee of Meyersdale Manufacturing Company.  Friends will be
 received Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home,
 Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the
 Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
