  WILLIAM C. GARLITZ
  
    William C. "Bud" Garlitz, 71, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Aug. 29, 1975, at
  his home.  Born Oct. 18, 1903, in Avilton, Md., he was a son of the late
  Thomas and Stella Malina Garlitz.  He was preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Mary Shumaker Bowman, and three sisters.
    Surviving are a stepson, Roger Bowman, of Cresaptown, Md.; four
  grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Albert Sturtz, Meyersdale RD 4.
    He was a veteran of World War II.
    Mass of the Resurrection was held Monday morning in Sts. Phillip and
  James Catholic Church with Rev. Clark George officiating.  Interment in the
  church cemetery.
