  GARRAD
  
    Effie G. (Persuhn) Garrad, 84, of North Center Avenue, Somerset died May
  25, 2000 at home.  Born Jan. 24 1916 in Somerset.  Daughter of William J.
  and Alice (Fisher) Persuhn.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Alfred
  in 1977 and eight sisters and brothers.  Survived by brothers and sisters,
  Ralph of Boswell, Susan Reffner-Atherton and Mary wife of Billy Brant, both
  of Somerset, and Robert of Ravenna, Ohio.  Also survived by numerous nieces
  and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at
  the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held
  at 10 a.m. Saturday and Pastor William J. Dodson of Somerset Christian
  Fellowship officiating.  Interment will be at the Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery.
