   Brenda L. (Jones) Garrety, 45, Hollsopple, died March 24, 2007, at Memorial Medical
  Center. Born Oct. 13, 1961, in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Koontz) Jones.
  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Daniel Jones; and brother-in-law, Walter Yania.
  Survived by husband of 26 years, Jeffrey Scott Garrety; three children, Danyel, married
  to Scott Lohr, Jerome; Scott Alan Garrety and Brittany Garrety, both at home; twin
  sisters, Charleen Yania, Central City, and Darleen, married to Terry Christy, Johnstown;
  and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1979 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School.
  Employed by Laurel View Village, Davidsville. Brenda was a devoted and loving wife,
  mother and sister. A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m.
  Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell. The Rev. Dan
  Judy officiating. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society, 168 W.
  Union St., Somerset, PA 15501.
