  Ernest E. Gary, 80, of Rockwood RD 3 died April 12, 1982, at West Penn
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born March 28, 1902, in Upper Turkeyfoot
  Township, son of the late Jonas and Kathryn (Bowman) Gary.  He is survived
  by wife, former Marie Faidley; children: Mrs. Peter (Lena) Chornak,
  Mechanicsburg; Jonas M. Gary, Antioch, Calif.; Mrs. John (Doris) Pyle,
  Rockwood RD 1; J.C. Gary, Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Milton (Norma Jean)
  Phillippi, Rockwood RD 3; eight grandchildren; and two
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Albert Gary, Rockwood RD 3; Ralph Gary,
  Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Elsie Pletcher, Rockwood RD 3; Daniel Gary, Berlin RD
  1.  He was a retired farmer, and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist
  Church.  Friends will be received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home on
  Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until
  noon Thursday, when his remains will be removed to Wesley Chapel Church, to
  lie in state until time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. John Hodge
  officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
