  Fred R. "Brownie" Gary, 55, a loving husband and devoted father and
  grandfather of Markleton RD 1, died Feb. 7, 1996, at Somerset Hospital. 
  Born May 21, 1940, in Rockwood, son of the late Charles and Frances
  (Pritts) Gary.  Survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Kathleen
  Knopsnyder. Also survived by son Richard, married to Kathy Gary of Rockwood
  RD 2; daughter, Mrs. Timothy (Christine) Judy of Rockwood, and two
  grandchildren.  Brother of Charles E., married to Jenny Gary of Rockwood RD
  1; Mrs. Bud (Leona) Ulery of Stoystown RD 3, and Kenneth R., married to Jill
  Gary, of Rockwood RD 2.  Member of Glade City Church of God.  Friends will
  be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home, Rockwood. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at the
  Glad City Church of God, Rev. Archie Smith and Milton Morris officiating. 
  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery
