  GARY
  
  Jacob (Jake) Gary, 79, of Normalville RD 1, died Dec. 22, 1974, at
  Connellsville State General Hospital.  He was born July 7, 1895, in
  Scullton, Pa., son of the late William S. and Sarah Susan (Showman) Gary. 
  Survived by six children: Clair, Bernard and Tom, all of Champion RD 1;
  James, Allen and Mrs. Edith Miller, all of Normalville RD 1.  A brother of
  John R. of Melcroft, Pa.  Preceded in death by five brothers and two
  sisters.  A lumberman and farmer by occupation, and a World War I veteran,
  U.S. Army.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11
  a.m. with the Rev. Paul R. White officiating.  Interment, Mount Nebo
  Cemetery, Champion, Pa.
