Born March 18, 1892, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, daughter of Ephriam and Rosetta (Harbaugh) Miner. Survived by six sons: Harry, Confluence RD 3; Norman, Markleton RD 1; Lester, Rockwood; Frank, Somerset RD 6; John, Markleton; and Paul, Rockwood RD 1; daughters, Mrs. Rosie Trimpey-Henry, Markleton RD1; Mrs. Homer (Lillie) Brocht and Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Kreger, both of Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Clarence (Katie) Mostoller, Somerset RD 2; and Mrs. Dwight (Edna) Tressler, Confluence RD 3; also 40 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Jacob, who died Feb. 27, 1969; son, Charles; five grandchildren, two brothers and two half-brothers. Life-long member of the Old Bethel Church. Friends will be received in William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and until noon Tuesday, when remains will be moved to Old Bethel Church, to lie in state until 2 p.m., time of service, the Rev. Douglas Baker officiating. Interment, Old Bethel Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Robert H. Halverson supervising.
