Gary, 79, of Scullton, passed away Sept. 27, at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 27, 1921 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., a son of James and Anna (Pletcher) Gary. Preceded in death by brothers Roy, Earl and an infant brother. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Nellie (Schultz) Gary and these children: Donald (married to Carol) of Friedens, Karen (married to Roger) Gilbert of Gray and Anna Mae (married to Ronald) Dunmeyer of Somerset. Also survived by grandchildren Donald Gary Jr., Ann Emery, Lori and Michelle Gilbert and Wendy Dunmeyer; great-granddaughter Amber Emery; and sisters, Grace (Mrs. Arnold) Ansell of Scullton and Alma Fleming of Wheeling, W.Va. He was a retired carpenter and 40-year member of Local No. 2274 of the Carpenters' Union in Pittsburgh. Attended Scullton Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. He was a member of the Scullton Rod and Gun Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at Scullton Cemetery, Pastor Boyd Race officiating.
