Gasperine, 77, of Listie, died July 31, 1990, in Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 22, 1912, in Kingwood, W. Va. Son of the late Petro and Antonia (Carlini) Gasperine. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Diane, and three brothers. Survived by his wife, Rosie (Bennie) and one son, John L., married to the former Lou Ann Kelly, Austin, Pa. Four grandchildren, Michael, Christina, Michelle and Kathleen, and one brother, Anthony (Tony) Gasperine of Listie. Member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Listie. Life member of Listie Volunteer Fire Co., veteran of WW II, member of VFW Post 554, Somerset, and American Legion, Somerset. Member of Brick Layers and Allied Craftsmen Local 4, Johnstown. He was a 42-year member of that union. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where Wake service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Michael's Church, Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli. Interment, Listie Cemetery.
