  LOIS J. GASTIGER
  
    Lois Jean Gastiger, 69, Friedens, died April 1, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 6, 1929, in Somerset.  Daughter of the late Ira
  Ernest and Grace Elizabeth (Buratty) Lafferty, and brother, Harold E. "Bud"
  Lafferty.  Survived by husband, Robert Kuhs Gastiger, to whom she was
  married 36 years, and daughter, Sheila Jean Gastiger of Pittsburgh.  Sister
  of James M. Lafferty of Somerset.  Member of the Friedens Lutheran Church. 
  1946 graduate of Somerset High School.  Former employee of Stahl's Jewelry
  and DeVilbiss Co.  Former Somerset Republican committee woman.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home.  No visitation Easter Sunday.  Services will be conducted at
  11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John K. Timm
  officiating.  Interment, Friedens Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to
  Somerset County Library, 6022 Glades Pike Suite 120, Somerset, Pa. 15501 or
  Humane Society of Somerset County, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
