  GATES
  
    Dorothy Louise Gates, 68, of Somerset, died Oct. 28, 1993, in Somerset
  Hospital.  Born July 10, 1925 in Somerset.  Daughter of the late Charles F.
  and Minnie O. (Bittner) Alexander.  Also preceded in death by husband,
  Harold Pershing Gates, on Oct. 22, 1990.  Survived by a daughter, Mrs.
  Richard T. (Barbara) Baldwin of Gaithersburg, Md., and by three
  grandchildren: Timothy, Heather and Jennifer Baldwin.  Sister of Mrs.
  Marguerite Walker of Harrisburg.  Had been a secretary for 14 years at the
  Somerset State Hospital and was a legal secretary for attorneys Robert W.
  Critchfield and Simon K. Uhl.  A 1943 graduate of Somerset High School. 
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. William P.
  Wood officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
