  ELEANOR GAUNTZ
  
    Eleanor Mae Bodes Gaunz, 69, died Dec. 13, 1993 at High Point Regional
  Hospital, High Point, North Carolina.
    She was born Oct. 23, 1924 at St. Paul, Pa., the daughter of Ernest and
  Ada (Christner) Bodes.  She had been a resident of High Point for 17 years,
  coming from Newport News, Va.
    She was a homemaker.  She was also a member of the Post Exchange and
  Commissory Board, the NCO Wives Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks Club
  and the Covenant Church United Methodist. 
    She married Harold Gauntz in April 1943, and he survives at home.
    She is also survived by one daughter, Debra Sue Gauntz, High Point; one
  son, Harold Gauntz of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Helen Moser, Bedford; and
  two grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Thursday at Sechrest Funeral Home by the Revs.
  Mark Key and Patricia Humphries-Bivens.  Interment, Floral Garden Park
  Cemetery.
