  HARRY W. GAUNTZ
  
    Harry W. Gauntz, 78, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 22, 1978 in Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born April 11, 1900, in Meyersdale, he was the son of
  the late John W. and Catherine (Bittner) Gauntz.
    He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
    He is survived by his widow, Elsie (Saylor) and three children: Mrs.
  Eloise Breig, Somerset; Mrs. Kay Ringler, Salisbury; and Jon F., Citrus,
  Cal.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs.
  Nellie Saintz and Mrs. Sarah Siehl, both of Detroit, Mich.
    He was a member of Amity United Church of Christ and a retired
  Pennsylvania Electric employee.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home in Meyersdale where
  funeral services were held with Rev. Ernest Rumbaugh officiating. 
  Interment, Reformed Cemetery.
