  MARY JANE GAUNTZ
  
    Mary Jane Gauntz, 53, of York, died Sunday, January 25, at York Hospital,
  York.
    Born November 20, 1927, in Listie, she was a daughter of the late Millard
  E. and Fannie M. (Trent) Shaffer.
    She is survived by her husband, Glenn W. Gauntz, of York, who is the son
  of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gauntz, of Meyersdale; and three children: Barbara
  A. and Gretchen J. Gauntz, at home, and a son, Alfred E., of Harrisburg;
  two sisters, Dorothy Trent, of Somerset; and Rebecca Miller, of York; two
  brothers Jack and George Shaffer, both of Somerset.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Second Church of the
  Brethren, York, with the Rev. Stephen Margush officiating; Roy C. Myers, of
  the Raven Run Brethren Church, Saxon, assisted.  Services were arranged by
  LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home in York.  Burial in Prospect Hill, York.
