  MRS. SARAH GAUNTZ
  
    Mrs. Sarah E. Gauntz, 85, of Meyersdale, died Sept. 10 in Siemon Nursing
  Home in Somerset.  She was born July 30, 1889, on Meyersdale RD, a daughter
  of the late Conrad and Delila Bockes Herwig.  She was preceded in death by
  her husband, Albert.
    She is survived by these children: Melvin, Sunnymead, Calif.; Mrs.  Helen
  Carouse, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Dorothy Stern, Rockview, Md.; also by eight
  grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
    She was a sister of John, Elyria, Ohio, and Mrs. Ethel Williamson,
  Pittsburgh.
    Services were conducted at the William R. Price Funeral Home Sept. 14,
  the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment in the Union Cemetery.
