  GAUNTZ
  
  William H. Gauntz, 91, of Meyersdale, died May 8 at Church of the Brethren
  Home, Scalp Level.  Born in Garrett RD 1, son of the late Levi and Caroline
  Hockman Gauntz.  Preceded in death by his wife, Clara Bittinger, in 1968.
  Survived by four children, Rev. William, Scalp Level, Paul, Bellsville,
  Ill., Mrs. Mary Cumming, Calgary, Can., and Mrs. Lois Kurtz,
  Standardsville, Va., 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  Friends will be received in the William R. Price Funeral Home, Inc., after
  7 p.m. Thursday, where services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m., with
  Rev. John Glick, officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
