He lived in Stow for 1 1/2 years. Born April 10, 1940 in Mt. Savage, Md. He was the son of Wilbur C. and Ruth (Baker) Geary. Preceded in death by parents, a son Dale A. Geary Jr.; brother Ronald W. Geary, and nephew, Lonnie Geary. Survived by his wife Betty Lou (Burkett); son, Brian, married to the former Carla Glass, Lexington, Ky.; daughter, Jennifer married to Michael Ream, Stow, Mass.; sister, Margaret Ann married to Ralph Dean, Moorefield, W.Va.; brother, Charles, married to the former Gloria Bittner, Mt. Savage, Md.; sister, Mary Lou married to Jim Sweitzer, Mt. Savage, Md.; sister-in-law, Mary Virginia Geary, Glencoe; grandchildren, Walker, Paige and Claire Geary, and Dyllan Ream, numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Buffy. After graduating from Mt. Savage High School in 1958, Dale served three years in the U.S. Army. He was a 25-year employee of the former Kelly Springfield Tire Co. in Cumberland, Md. He also owned and operated a dairy farm for 26 years in Glencoe, along with his brother Ronald. He was a member of the Bible Gospel Church in Hyndman. He loved being around people and after moving to Massachusetts, he enjoyed working at Wal-Mart. A memorial service is being held in Pennsylvania for family members.
