  FERLING A. GEARY
  
    Ferling A. Geary, 85, of RD 3 Rockwood, died Sept. 18, 1983 in Berlin.
    He was born Aug. 11, 1898, in Scullton, a son of the late John M. and
  Catherine (Ansell) Geary.
    He is survived by his wife, Bessie (Barclay) Geary of RD 3 Rockwood, two
  sons, Clyde and Samuel W., both of RD 3 Rockwood; daughter, Mrs. Sally K.
  Ries, of Somerset; a brother, James of Rockwood RD 3; and sister, Mrs.
  Catherine Collins, of Ursina; also 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren
  and 9 great-grandchildren. Death terminates marriage union of 58 years.
    He had attended Scullton Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
    Friends were received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Robert Becker officiating.  Interment, Scullton
  Cemetery.
